More garage sale season!

For $15, we got:

We got this Dora Dollhouse and people PLUS all the additional "sets" that go with it (backyard pieces, bedroom furniture, etc.). I really like it--it's modular, the furniture often "transforms" to be dual-function (breakfast v. dinner, art table v tea party, swing set v. tree house, library v. buffet, etc.). I think the price for the house, people, and all the parts would be a few hundred dollars!

Two huge buckets of LEGO Duplo pieces/cars/animals/people.

A wooden rolling pin, Taboo game, a steel kids lunchbox filled with magnetic letters and numbers.

AND all the toys came in lidded plastic bins for storage! SCORE!

What we also like about bins at garage sales is the bizarre "bonus" pieces that get tossed in:
- a really strange C3PO head on a boat (Bruce took that and said, "That is MINE! I am so taking that to my desk at school)
- a sparkling flashing "princess" bracelet
- an entire set of 10 rubber and "gold" Egyptian pieces: Tutankhamen, Nefertiti, scarab beetles, the sphynx, the pyramids, and a bunch of deity-like things that we don't even know what they are! Bruce and I are "fighting" over this set! We've compromised and put it on our nightstand.
- a rubber hot dog bun (which Oula has been stuffing with the refridgerator letters and numbers, Scrabble-esque)
- miscellaneous unmatched dolls/people/kitty cats with carriers and accessories

Bruce said: "What can't Toys R Us give you all these bonus pieces when you buy things?!"
